What happens after I submit my health questionnaire?

A licensed clinician from OpenLoop Healthcare Partners, PC (through its patient platform, Agile Telehealth) reviews your answers. They may message you with follow-up questions or ask for a video or phone visit if your state or your health history requires one. If treatment is appropriate, they'll explain your plan; if not, they'll tell you that too.

Is the program completely online?

Yes. Everything happens online — no in-person visit is needed. Medical Weight Management and testosterone care start with a scheduled live video visit with a licensed clinician. Other programs are mostly reviewed online, with a live video visit required for the first visit in AR, DC, DE, MS, NM, RI and WV. Your clinician may request lab work.

Which programs are available right now?

We offer six programs: Medical Weight Management, Metabolic & Cellular Support, Menopause & Perimenopause, Testosterone Support, Hair & Scalp Health (for women and men), and Skin Health. Each one starts with a private online assessment, and a licensed clinician decides what, if anything, is appropriate for you.

I already take a weight-loss medication elsewhere. Can I switch to Embrace?

You can apply. Share your current medication and history in the questionnaire, and your clinician will decide whether and how to continue your care. Please don't stop or change any medication on your own while you switch.

Who can join Medical Weight Management?

Accepted Answer

Adults who complete the health questionnaire can be considered. A licensed clinician reviews your health history, current medications and goals to decide whether the program, and any prescription, is right for you. New patients must be 18–74, with a BMI of 27 or higher, or 25 or higher with a weight-related health condition.

Will everyone qualify for medication?

No. Completing the questionnaire does not guarantee a prescription. Your clinician decides only what is medically appropriate, and some people are better served by a non-medication plan or by care elsewhere.

Embrace is currently available to adults located in all 50 U.S. states and Washington, D.C. Clinical availability may vary by program.

Do I need a video visit with a clinician?

For Medical Weight Management and testosterone care, yes: your first visit is a scheduled live video visit in every state. For other programs, it depends on your state: a live first visit is required in AR, DC, DE, MS, NM, RI and WV; elsewhere most reviews happen online, and you can ask for a live video visit.

What side effects should I know about?

Every medication can have side effects, and they differ from person to person. Your clinician will review possible side effects with you before you start and tell you which ones need urgent attention. Message your care team about anything new or concerning. For a medical emergency, call 911.

Who decides my dose or changes my treatment?

Only your licensed clinician. If you feel your plan needs a change, message your care team and your clinician will review it. Never adjust a prescribed medication on your own.

Everyone's body responds differently, and we can't promise specific results or timelines. Your care team will help you track progress and adjust your plan with your clinician as needed.

Is weight-loss medication safe for me if I'm pregnant, breastfeeding or have other conditions?

Be completely honest in your questionnaire about pregnancy, plans to become pregnant, breastfeeding, and all conditions and medications. Your clinician uses this to decide what is safe for you, and some treatments are not appropriate in these situations.

Open any recipe and choose Start cooking. You get one step at a time in large type, with Back and Next, an optional timer, and a screen that tries to stay awake. Voice controls stay on your device and are not recorded.
